COVID-19 TESTS: The federal government is once again making four free tests available to households. To request your free tests, visit https://www.covid.gov/tests. Amherst residents can also obtain free tests from the Amherst Department of Health https://www.amherstcovid19.org/testing. And, most MA residents can show their insurance cards to get up to eight (8) free rapid antigen tests per person at the pharmacy desk of CVS and Walgreens every 30 days.
AMHERST VACCINE/BOOSTER CLINIC: happens at the Bangs Community Center monthly. Starting February 1, 2023, the Health Department will offer free COVID-19 vaccine and boosters on the first Wednesday of every month from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the Bangs Community Center, Room 101.
